How to get Here
From Athens
-Follow the A8/E94 toward Corinth.
-Take the exit for Korinthos Center, then turn left to Examilia and immediatly right to Ancient Korinthos.
-Merge onto the Old National Road (EO7).
-Stay on the EO7 as you drive southwest toward Chiliomodi.
-From Chiliomodi, follow the local road signs toward Klenia, Agionori and Stefani.
-At the key junction below the castle near Agionori, turn right toward Stefáni. From there drive west and follow the signs to the Stephanion Observatory.
From Patras
-Take the A8/E55 highway heading east toward Corinth.
-Take the exit for Ancient Korinthos/Argos and merge onto the Old National Road (EO7)
-Stay on the EO7 as you drive southwest toward Chiliomodi.
-From Chiliomodi, follow the local road signs toward Klenia, Agionori and Stefani.
-At the key junction below the castle near Agionori, turn right toward Stefáni. From there drive west and follow the signs to the Stephanion Observatory.
From Tripolis
-Take the A7/E65 highway heading north toward Corinth.
-Take the exit for Ag. Vasileios and follow the signs to Ag. Vasileios
-Merge onto the Old National Road to Corinth (EO7).
-Stay on the EO7 as you drive northeast toward Chiliomodi.
-From Chiliomodi, follow the local road signs toward Klenia, Agionori and Stefani.
-At the key junction below the castle near Agionori, turn right toward Stefáni. From there drive west and follow the signs to the Stephanion Observatory.
Road and Driving Conditions
The final part of the drive to Stephanion Observatory passes through mountainous roads with some curves and inclines. Most of the journey from Athens, Patras and Tripolis is on main highways and national roads, with only the last few kilometers on smaller local roads.
We recommend driving carefully, especially in wet or snowy weather, and using a GPS or online map for guidance. The route is suitable for cars and buses, though larger vehicles should note that turning space near the observatory is limited.
